In March of 2018, we began to move into the new troop center space which is located in a different area of the same building. The building’s new owners had plans to renovate it and our old location was slated to become medical treatment areas and offices. Our new location in the building is beautiful. Due to the hard work of the Troop Center volunteers under the direction of Penny Moody and her husbad, George, our new troop center is open. Special recognition is due especially to Gracie & Bryan Bailey, Mary Jo & Dennis Bailey, Linda & Frank Mauro, Fawn & Brian Dormish, Sandy Sillin, Karen Schnee, Devon Brust, and Debbie Hancock. Many thanks are also due to JR Remick, Inc. and The Kettering Health Network for their most generous support of our chapter and our missions. We could not have this wonderful space from which to carry on our missions without them.

The Troop Center is open to the public most Saturdays from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. except Summer hours April through the end of August from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. The Troop Center is closed annually during the first 2 weeks in July.
