Holiday Wishes to You and Yours!
Hard to believe that it is mid-November now and the holidays are just around the corner… it seems that time slips by faster and faster! Even more the reason to send this Holiday Message and update you on all the things that are happening with your Blue Star Mothers, Miami Valley Chapter #3.
If you are traveling this holiday season, we pray you will do so in safety and enjoy the time you may have to spend with your loved ones. It truly is a blessing when we can be surrounded by those we love and call friends and family. Be kind to each other and remember that there are some among us who are not able to spend the holidays or other times with those they love. I encourage you to spread your BSM spirit and share a smile or a hug with someone who may be in need. And yes, all too often, it is the quiet who do not ask that are likely most in need. As mothers, we have an innate capacity to see beyond the veiled fronts and know with our hearts that compassion is something to give freely. Our sons and daughters have all been reared in the warmth of our love and while that is unending – we may find that our new place is to offer the same to a fellow sister or neighbor. Let our light be ever bright and the reward not our own but of something greater to which you believe.
Your President and BSM Friend, Tammy
